The Sicilian project, Sicily Inside Out, includes collaboration between design brands from different markets but which shared the same values, both aesthetical and ethical, Unurgent Argilla and Residenza Hortus.
As Residenza Hortus arises from a re-evaluation of history and the territory, so Unurgent Argilla arises from the enhancement of territory and its resources.
Unurgent Argilla is a project by Nina born from the desire to create ceramics intimated linked to a territory. The process begins with a manual conscious extraction, and in very small quantities, of clays from different places.
Pantelleria and Stromboli collection could only represent a Sicilian residence like that.
Her slow workmanship, the attention to the shapes, the simplicity of lines brings back to a careful design, a slow production and a uniqueness of the object.
In my pics I looked for shapes, details, simple lines but never the same. The style that represents the studio is consistent, simple, refined, linear and elegant.
I looked for the natural and architectural elements of the place.
I tried to enlighten the material.
I tried to combine forms with the elements.
The images are the result of a project: a study of the product and brand values.
