The early 20th century apartment is located in the market area of Ortigia, the ancient area of Syracuse, an island and the historical center of the city.
Set in the alleys of aold Modica, it overlooks the city with a 360 degree view.
In the spaces created on two floors we find majolica tiles, coatings with local materials, artworks by Luca.
I looked for simple details, lines and shapes that follow tradition in a modern way.
In addition to the original spaces, the strong point is the view over the city which seems to be painted so much are the details of the alleys, the architecture and the quarries in which the city is built.
